But playing politics, it’s irresistible. Politicians and elected officials, in many cases, just can’t resist it. The finger pointing. Newsom gets blamed. L. A. Mayor Basch gets blamed. You had a number of bloggers and commentators and members, up to and including Elon Musk. He knew he was going to jump in on it, making all kinds of ridiculous claims. Let’s take a few of them. The fire department. It was under-resourced, even though The fact of the matter is, it was only a small incremental decrease for administrative purposes in the LA City Fire Department budget. Nonetheless, politicians went off on that saying, You see, they cut back fire services even when they were worn? Well, really, no. The second thing, and this is my favorite, DEI being blamed by Musk, and he went on and on on his ex about that. What is he saying? Well, the man And the mandate in the LA Fire Department is to hire all these women and blacks, and they’re all incompetent, and Hispanic, and they’re all incompetent. Let’s keep the good old boy white males, which is what fire departments have been for a millennia, and keep the others out of there.

You see, when they come in, they’re inept, they’re incompetent, and you see what happens. A third one, don’t blame global warming. Don’t blame climate control of climate change. That has nothing to do with it. That’s a red herring. Every scientist for years, every study, every survey has shown in every measurement, we do face a crisis. In fact, the same week that we have and are having the LA wildfires, it came out. The planet Earth has suffered the last year, the warmest it’s ever been in recorded history. So there is a major problem when you’re talking about global warming and climate control. La, Southern California is a the box in any season, drought, dryness, now, of course, climate change and global warming has exacerbated the problem, which means this. It will get worse. We have more to come. It’s just the beginning. There will be more catastrophes, sad to say, sorry to say, that we have seen. Here’s another prediction. When that happens, as it has happened with the LA wildfires, there will be more blame calling, there will be more blame game playing, and there will be more blame in, particularly by Trump, Musk, GOP, and essentially, pointing fingers at the Democrats.

People like on Newsom and Bas. They’re going to be under the gun, under the fire. Always, no matter what they do, it will never be enough. And by extension, even Biden was brought into it, even though to his credit, ever-lasting credit, he said, We’re not going to play the blame game, we’re going to send aid and support and funding and finances to help those that are suffering loss of life, loss of property. That’s the correct way. That’s the correct approach. Not name calling, not blaming, and most importantly, stop not the blame game, playing politics with disaster. It’s everyone that does that. Their shame and disgrace. You’ve been listening to the Hutchinson Report. Your host, Earl Ofari Hutchinson. Thanks for joining me.
